Add and maintain latest Exchange Rates of various currencies through this master. Exchange Rates as on date are maintained.
Enter any text you want to search in the list below. The search is applicable to all columns of the list. Once the text is entered, press <ENTER> key. As a result, the list will be refreshed with all those records that contain the entered text fully or partially. In order to go back to the original list, remove the text from the box and press <ENTER> key again.
Exchange Rates can be added, edited, and viewed provided the Role associated with the currently logged-in user through User Management has the respective rights to do so.
To 'Add' an Exchange Rate, click on the 
button and to 'Edit', click on the 
icon on its corresponding record. To 'View' details of a particular Exchange Rate, <DoubleClick> on that record. As a result, following screen will be displayed -
You can not delete an already existing Exchange Rate for a Currency.
Denotes the Currency for which Exchange Rate is maintained.
While 'Adding', click on the field to access a list of already existing Currencies defined through Currency Master option. Select your desired Currency from the list by clicking on it. Alternatively you can also enter the Currency Code. Press <TAB>.
n case of 'Edit' and 'View', Currency will be displayed automatically for the selected record. It can not be changed.
While 'Adding' a new Exchange Rate for the selected Currency, enter the date for which the exchange rate has to be entered. The system checks whether the Exchange Rate for the selected Currency on the entered date already exists or not. If yes, it flashes a message otherwise it lets you to continue.
In case of 'Edit' and 'View', Effective Date will be displayed automatically for the selected record. You can change it in 'Edit' mode.
| Please note that Exchange Rate of a Currency can not be changed in case its effective date is less than the Current Period Start Date. |

Enter the Exchange Rate for buying the selected Currency as on entered Date.

Enter the Exchange Rate for selling the selected Currency as on entered Date.
Once you have entered all the information, click on 'Save' button to save or 'Cancel' button to discard. The control will go back to the list.
While saving, if the exchange rate of the selected Currency is changed through 'Edit' mode, the system will display following message -
Click on the 'Yes' button if you want to recalculate the Landed Rate of Items in Item Vendor Purchase Master and Item Vendor Labour Master by considering the newly entered Exchange Rate of the concerned Currency.
In case 'No' is chosen, no changes will be made in Landed Rates of Items.
